This little studmuffin is the doodle who kick-started Strawberry Fields Labradoodles! He is incrediblely calm, smart and eager to please, with gorgeous confirmation. He has irresistably luscious wavy chocoloate fleece and the cutest little white markings on chin, chest and paws. “Thor” for short and weighing only 22 pounds– he is small but mighty! Thor chases all the squirrels out of the yard before retiring to the couch for lap cuddles. He enjoys driving carpool with me, and he sleeps with our daughter at night. He always knows when someone needs a cuddle to cheer them up. From the time he came home, he watched my face for direction, potty trained quickly (even pooping on command) and seemed his only desire was to please us and be near his people. He has such a keen intuition for our desires and such a big heart! Cici was “his baby” ever since she came home, even though he was only six months old himself. They’re still best friends, and Thor refuses to touch his food until Cici has eaten her fill. Thor has definitely been an emotional support animal for us in these turbulent times, and he produces some very special pups.

Meet Prince Charming!

Prince Charming aka “Champ” is a little gentleman. He has charmed his guardian family with his gentle, loving ways. He loves to snuggle with his guardian dad (human), play with his “big brother” (dog, not related) Hobbes, one of our other studs, who lives with the same guardian family, and spend lazy afternoons outside watching for birds and squirrels and sniffing the breeze. We can’t wait to see the little ladies and gentle-pups he will produce.

Maple also came to us from Jenny Blume at Swinging Gate Labradoodles in North Carolina. In fact, we met Maple the same day that we met Thornton! When we decided to start our breeding business the first thing I did was call Jenny and ask her to find me a girl exactly like “Lizzie” (which was her name when we met her). Lo and behold, Jenny let me know that she had kept her for her own breeding program, and she let us buy her because she had seen the special bond that I’d felt with Maple when we met the first time. This was one of those moments when I knew that all of this was just meant to be.

Sweet Maple is a super model, super athlete and super smart to boot! She has the regal good looks of her father, Swinging Gate King George, with a stunning apricot and white tuxedo, including four perfect white socks. She is an enthusiastic snuggler who enjoys lap sitting and long, meaningful eye contact when she isn’t leaping sofas in a single bound. Maple lives with my mom and dad (she is my dad’s little shadow and lap snuggler), and our kids love to visit them as often as they can.

Maple is the most incredible mama, and it is very hard for us to let those gorgeous puppies go! A mini at 24 pounds, she is just a scooch taller than Thornton, and as a couple the two of them remind me of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise! We’re so grateful to Jenny Blume at Swinging Gate Labradoodles for entrusting us with this power couple! These two are in LOVE, and they make the most beautiful babies!
